US citizen shot by Israeli forces petitions Supreme
On 5th April 2003 Brian, along with another ISM activist, was standing under a street lamp on a quiet empty street wearing a high visibility medic vest with his hands in the air, clearly indicating he was an unarmed international when an APC approached at under 30kmph and without warning open heavy fire from a range of just tens of meters. After shooting Brian the perpetrators carried on driving. This was witnessed by four other activists from Sweden and Denmark who were in the vicinity.

Uprooting of olive trees near Jayyous on Thursday, 9th December 2004
EA Gocke stays there alone among two armed settlers, who pretend to be from the Jordan Valley, while the hydraulic excavator CAT 330B uproots one olive tree after the other. A guard from the quarry company tells the EA that they will build on the whole site a new settlement of “700 units” within four years. The driver tells the EA that he will bring the trees to the Tel Aviv area, to be sold there.

Israeli tank injures Palestinian children
The Israeli army has fired tank shells into the Khan Yunus refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip wounding up to eight Palestinian schoolchildren. The children, all under the age of seven, suffered shrapnel wounds when one of the shells exploded in the yard behind their school in the al-Namsawi neighbourhood

Israeli soldiers "killed in Gaza blast"
After setting off a 1,500 kg bomb, militants lobbed mortar bombs and opened fire at Israeli troops evacuating the wounded, sparking a fierce gun battle that lasted for over an hour. A spokesman for the Fatah Hawks said the attack was in revenge for the "assassination" of Arafat, who died on November 11 of an undisclosed illness at a French hospital.

Man dies in crossfire in own home
Sabeer Shaloof, aged 36, was shot in the neck while in his home in the town of Rafah, near the Gaza border with Egypt, the sources said. Fierce fighting broke out between Israeli troops and Palestinian militants after at least four Israelis were killed in an explosion inside a tunnel close to the Israeli checkpoint on the volatile border.

Israel closes Rafah terminal on borderline with Egypt

Badly Beaten Settler Found Near Nablus
Earlier on Saturday, Palestinians had alerted Israeli police to a settler who attempted to steal sheep owned by a local herder and attacked him in the process. The injured settler later told police that the Palestinians had beaten him and stolen his weapon. Israeli Security forces have detained a number of Palestinians for questioning. Cabinet Approves Release of Some Palestinian Prisoner
While Israeli media reports mentioned the names of few jailed Palestinian leaders, including Husam Khader (Fatah) and Abdul-Rahim Malouh (PFLP) as likely to be released, Palestinian official sources described the expected release as "only symbolic", adding that it would only include prisoners who will end their imprisonment terms in a short period of time.

Palestinian official calls for unconditioned release of prisoners
Israel announced earlier that it will begin the process of releasing 100 to 200 Palestinian prisoners on Sunday as part of a prisoner swap, during which a convicted Israeli spy was released from an Egyptian prison last week.

PLO chairman apologizes to Kuwait over stand on Iraq invasion
"We apologize to Kuwait and the Kuwaiti people for what we did," Abbas told reporters... Kuwaiti PM vows to continue support for Palestinian cause

Palestinian director shows co-Israeli produced film in Gulf emirate

U.S. Soldier Jailed for Murdering Iraqi
A U.S. soldier was sentenced to three years in jail for the murder of a wounded Iraqi teenager... During the proceedings his action was described as a "mercy killing." He shot a youth who had survived an attack by U.S. troops on a garbage truck which they suspected of being used by guerrillas during a Shi'ite uprising in Baghdad in August.

U.S. Soldiers Detain More Than 50 Iraqis

Some Detainees in Iraq Refusing Meals
