Badarna, a Palestinian cameraman from the northern West Bank city of
Nablus was shot in the back with rubber–coated bullets when the
Israeli army invaded the area on Tuesday. Badarna, who had been
arguing with an Israeli soldier to about his right as a journalist to
cover the invasion, was deliberately targeted later by the same
soldier and was shot at close range. He was taken to hospital for
treatment.
