'Quiet transfer' in East Jerusalem nears completion
Israel is close to implementing a long-term plan to transform the demographic structure of annexed East Jerusalem. Policies to revoke the residency permits of Palestinian Jerusalemites and to Judaise the city have been described as ethnic cleansing. Their (The international community) support of the Palestinian claim to East Jerusalem was bolstered by the fact that at the time of occupation Palestinians constituted the majority of residents in this sector of the city. Israel has engaged in a demographic battle to secure Israeli sovereignty over the whole city.

Despite Beating, Former CBU Student Continues Protests Against Middle East Violence
While most of the bruises have faded, some still paint his legs more than a month after his beating - and he's finally walking without a limp. But 23-year-old Kyle Kordsmeier vividly recalls kick after kick, punch after punch, delivered at the hands of Israeli police officers Aug. 1. Kordsmeier just had graduated from Christian Brothers University in May, and rather than relish the summer before starting a teaching job in his home state of Arkansas, he ventured into violence-filled territories to help defend the rights of Palestinians simply trying to survive.

Regrettably, however, the last decade has witnessed the most unfair and one-sided British policy towards the region since the creation of the state of Israel in our homeland close to 60 years ago.

The curse of living by the sword
There are all kinds of commissions of inquiry about wars, even ridiculous ones, such as Ehud Olmert's. There is never an inquiry into the failures in negotiating peace. Their victims, after all, are not quantifiable. Yet, the prime minister's political behavior at present is no less dangerous than the way he ran the war.
