Army installs X-ray search machine in Azoun Atma village
Soldiers restricted the movement over the checkpoint which is installed on the only road which leads to the village that became surrounded by the Separation Wall, and searched the residents using the X-Ray machine.

Bil'in residents celebrate the feast near the Wall
Abu Rahma added the gifts and toys were distributed to the children who came with their families to celebrate the feast in the orchards of the village, which are ripped and annexed by the construction of the Separation Wall. At least 17 residents were arrested recently in Bil’in during several invasions carried out by the army in an attempt to stop the protests against the Wall.

Israeli troops free Al-Jazeera cameraman
"Nabil al-Mazzawi was filming one of the Israeli soldiers who was beating activists during a protest" against the separation barrier being built by Israel, the Doha-based channel's editor-in-chief Ahmad Sheikh told AFP. "Then, another soldier came on and beat Nabil al-Mazzawi who was later detained," he said. Six Israeli peace activists were also arrested during the protest, rally organiser Abdullah Abu Rahma told AFP.

Call for probe into beating of Al Jazeera cameraman by Israeli soldiers
An Israeli police spokesman confirmed that the cameraman was detained for several hours and claimed that he had attacked a border guard. Al Jazeera screened footage showing that this was not true and that Israeli soldiers surrounded a dozen Palestinian and international demonstrators at the foot of the separation barrier at Bil'in, north of Ramallah.

Soldiers attack children in Dier Al Ghsoun village, confiscate their toys
Othman Qa'dan, 8, and some of his friends were playing with their toys when a military vehicle passed near them. Soldiers started chased the children, attacked them, and confiscated thier toys.

Jewish extremists attack a Palestinian girl in Jerusalem
Jewish extremists hurled stones, on Wednesday, at a Palestinian girl heading for school near close to Al Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem, local sources reported. Hiam Azmi Ashqar, 17, sustained moderate wounds in her head and was transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem.

Editorial: Adding Palestine to the map
Despite its formal withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the Israeli government continues its military and economic suppression of the Palestinian people's national and human rights, even though a majority of Israelis would like to see a two-state solution to the long and deadly conflict. Despite occasional hand-wringing, Washington has done nothing to move its closest Middle East ally to take a more reasonable position.

Hamas asks to relocate offices to Egypt, Jordan

Two resistance fighters arrested in Nablus

Palestinian dies of wounds after West Bank clashes
Mohammed Asaf Ikmel, 22, had been seriously injured during clashes on Monday between Palestinian gunmen and Israeli (OCCUPATION) troops in the northern West Bank town of Qabatiya, his family and security sources confirmed. He died in hospital in the West Bank town of Nablus.

On This Day 1995: Israeli PM shot dead
The gunman, named as Yigal Amir, was rapidly overpowered and arrested. He is believed to be one of the founders of an illegal Jewish settlement on the West Bank and a member of an extreme right-wing organisation.
