Three More Night-time Arrests in Bil'in; Soldiers Use Human Shield
Three jeeps of Border Police arrived about 1:30 am and went into several houses to make arrests for alleged stone throwing during demonstrations. Once again, the people of the village came out on the street to resist further arrests, and drive the military out. A group of about 50 Palestinians came out chanting and clapping in another act of non-violent resistance. ISM activists witnessed and caught on film the usage of human shields by the Israeli military last night...

Like a Thorn in the Heart: settlements and settlers in East Jerusalem
The settler project is a well-thought-out and deeply dangerous attempt by right-wing Israelis to thwart future peace-plans. Quietly and furtively, Israel's government is using the settlers to seal up the last loopholes through which peace can conceivably make its way, and is creating significant facts liable to bury the peace process. It is not certain whether the string of settlements will manage to modify East Jerusalem's character but what is certain that they are liable to sabotage any form of agreement.

Azoun Atma; wall and harsh military procedures
Azoun Atma is inhibited by 1700 residents living in 250 homes, at least 70% of the residents depend on agriculture as the only source of livelihood, and after Israel constructed the Wall there, and isolated the residents, most of the families lost their sources of livelihood.

Cohen suggests a project to annex West Bank settlements to Israel
The bill specifically proposes annexing the West Bank settlements of Ariel, Jiv’at Zeev, and Gush Azion to Israel. Cohen claims at the introduction of his proposal that these settlements are part of the State of Israel, and are under Israeli laws; therefore they should be annexed to Israel and be considered part of it.

Israeli troops push into Jenin
Fierce clashes erupted in the northern West Bank city of Jenin late on Tuesday as at least 40 Israeli tanks and jeeps converged on the city, Palestinian security sources and witnesses said. Two bulldozers were also seen entering the city, which is known for its fierce resistance to the Israeli occupation.

Cabinet: EU force at Rafah is of great importance to Israel

Palestinian Assails Sharon on Gaza Pullout

US releases 500 Iraqi detainees from Abu Ghraib prison
"The US side informed us that they decided to release 500 prisoners from the US-run jail," the source said.
