Palestinian agricultural organizations and farmers, in coordination with the International Solidarity Movement, the International Women's Peace Service and Israeli activist groups, announce the 2004 Olive Harvest Campaign. The olive harvest is one of the key events in the lives of Palestinians.

'Israeli troops shot schoolgirl 20 times'
Iman al-Hams and two other girls, all of them wearing school uniforms, passed a watchtower in Rafah refugee camp near the Egyptian border, a scene of frequent violence in a 4-year-old uprising, Palestinian witnesses said. "Israeli soldiers stormed the area, the girl left the bag and tried to run," said one. "Bullets hit the bag and then soldiers opened fire on the girl."

Shalom met with foreign ministers from the Netherlands, Russia and Great Britain. He asked them to oppose any resolution that does not also condemn Qassam rocket attacks on Israel. 50,000 trapped by Israeli assault on Gaza

Palestinian who killed 10 Israelis in shooting attack arrested

No explosives found on diverted Lufthansa flight
Israeli jet fighters escorted the plane to Cyprus to keep it from entering Israeli air space. Stella Urumi, a Lufthansa spokeswoman in Cyprus, said all 331 passengers and 16 crew members got off the plane in Larnaca so that it, everybody aboard and their luggage could be searched.
